About Google for Education
Google for Education is a free professional development course designed to help teachers integrate the use of Google products in the classroom. In this course students will find the necessary links to get started with a variety of Google for Education tools, a thoughtful series of tutorials and resources, links for accessing the Applied Digital Skills curriculum, and a place to submit a final Google inspired lesson plan.

Expected Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this course participants should be able to:
- Create an Applied Digital Skills account and access the lessons
- Navigate Google Drive to access applications, files, and resources
- Demonstrate how to use Google Drawing to enhance student creativity
- Create educational resources in Google Drive
- Share classroom information and resources in Google Classroom
- Connect Google resources in Canvas LMS
- Create an educational calendar using Google Calendar
- Use Google for Education tools together in order to support student productivity and creativity
- Submit a lesson plan for students that shows mastery of using Google for Education tools to enhance student creativity and productivity
Final Assessment
Create a lesson plan that incorporates skills you have learned from the Applied Digital Skills curriculum. Your lesson plan should include the following:
- Lesson requires students to create a product with Google for Education
- Lesson aligns with at least one Utah Core Standard
- Lesson plan includes a link to an exemplar product you have created
- Lesson plan includes an assessment plan with an accompanying rubric
