Adobe Creative Educator Level 1
Course Description
In this course, participants will access four of the training courses available through the Adobe Education Exchange to learn about the importance of creativity in the classroom. Participants will learn to use several Adobe creative tools, including Adobe Express and Adobe Premiere Rush. As they learn these tools, they will consider how to integrate them into the curriculum effectively. By completing this course, participants will also qualify for Adobe Creative Educator: Level 1 status.

Instructor
Rob Bentley
Rob is a multimedia education expert who provides teachers with the skills and knowledge to integrate video, images and other forms of media effectively into their classrooms. He guides teachers in fostering student creativity through media production and teaches courses that help educators learn the basics of computer usage. Previously, Rob taught Spanish and language arts in Granite School District. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish education with an English minor and a Master's in Instructional Design and Educational Technology from the University of Utah.
Expected Learning Outcomes
- Identify and explain the benefits of involving students in creative projects.
- Make creative lesson plans for every subject.
- Successfully navigate the Adobe Education Exchange so that they can further their knowledge of Adobe education tools in the future.
- Use Adobe Spark Post, Page, and Video to create educational graphics, web pages, and narrated slideshows.
- Use Adobe Premiere Rush to create and edit educational videos.
Final Assessment
Participants, will write a one-page reflection or record a five-minute video reflection. They will also submit an educational resource that they have created at some point during the course. The educational resource must have been created using an Adobe tool that was learned about in this course.
Participants can complete coursework anytime at their own pace. Modules stay open all year, and assignments are accepted through December 31, 2025. The instructor grades at least twice a month, typically around the 1st and 15th.
