About Blended Learning Methods
The focus of this course will be understanding the different blended learning models and frameworks. These will be explained and modeled in class in order to guide participants in understanding and developing their own blended learning materials. This course is designed to consist of a one in-person virtual session and then five weeks of online work. This will allow the participant time to work on concepts, principles, course materials and apply them in their classroom. There will also be online work between classes that will consist of videos, readings, discussions, and using the blended learning models and frameworks in practice. This course is designed to consist of a one in-person virtual session and five weeks of online work.
Credit: 1 USBE or 1 SUU Credit

Expected Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this course participants should be able to:
- Define blended learning.
- Determine which blended frameworks will work best with my current situation.
- Develop a plan for implementing blended learning.
- Create a personalized learning lesson that allows for student choice, voice, and pace.
- Determine which digital tools fit best with blended learning models.
- Design a lesson plan in which students are guided through a blending learning model and/or framework.
Final Assessment
Participants will create a final blended learning resource of their choice.
