 Expected Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this course participants should be able to:

  • Use Nearpod at an expert level.
  • Successfully deliver professional development on Nearpod.
  • Understand best practices in delivering professional development.
  • Support the implementation of Nearpod at their school/district site using various strategies.
  • Develop a professional development rollout plan.
  • Submit a 10-minute video highlighting their professional development delivery in a classroom setting.

 Final Assessment

We want to see how YOU train teachers! You've seen us, now it's your turn! Record yourself training a group of teachers using one of the decks provided. Pick a good 10-15 minutes of the training (this can be virtual or in-person) and submit it to Canvas. Don't worry about perfection- we just want to see how you train and interact with teachers. If you are not able to do a presentation with teachers at this time, you may instead submit a "mock training" where you can submit a screencast of you doing a mock training using one of the decks above.
