About Adobe Creative Educator Level 2

This course is designed to help teachers learn software available through Adobe and apply these skills to inspire creativity in their classrooms. To accomplish this, participants will complete a series of mini-courses that are available through the Adobe Education Exchange. Participants will need to complete the mini-course, “Design Your Creative Class” and then complete nine additional hours in the Adobe Education Exchange.  This flexibility will allow teachers to focus on the software that they are most interested in.  After completing this UEN course, participants will qualify for the Adobe Creative Educator: Level 2 status.

Massive Open Online Course (MOOC)
These courses are open-entry/exit with no enrollment cap. All coursework and assignments can be completed at the participants' own pace. There is very limited instructor interaction. This course must be completed by 12/31/2022.

Due to a large number of participants in these courses grading is done on a monthly rotation, usually on the first Monday of each month. It can take an additional week to process the grade through SUU or USBE. Please understand these expectations before registering for this course.

 Expected Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this course participants should be able to:

• Identify and explain the benefits of involving students in creative projects
• Make creative lesson plans for every subject
• Successfully navigate the Adobe Education Exchange in order to further knowledge of Adobe education tools in the future
• Learn new Adobe creative tools to integrate into the classroom

 Final Assessment

Reflect on what you learned in this course. How has your participation in this course changed how you will teach your own classes? What tools or strategies do you plan to add to your teaching? Submit your reflection in the form of a one-page single-spaced paper, or a five-minute recorded video.

Demonstrate effective use of creative Adobe tools by submitting an educational resource that you created using an Adobe tool that you learned about in this course. If you want to use a project you created earlier in the course, make sure that you refine it, lengthen or improve it significantly before you submit it for review.
